| Duties: | Must be capable of leading medium to large size projects throughout the entire process design effort. Independently prepares calculations, simulations, specifications and other engineering assignments as assigned. Process simulation modeling skills using ASPEN or PRO II or Hysys is required. Process design background including equipment sizing and specification, heat and material balances, pinch analysis, PFD and P&ID development, relief load calculations, and instrument specifications is required. Must be able to review own work as well as the work of subordinates. Reports directly to the Chief Engineer. Work requires application of standard procedures and practices. Responsible for developing man-hour budgets and schedules. Also responsible for executing assignments on schedule and on budget. |
| Qualifications: | Must have 15+ years of process design experience. BSChE or MSChE is required. Must have experience in polymerization, reactor design, slurry pumps, mixers, compressors, dryers, extruders, distillation, fractionation, centrifuges, sieves, pneumatic conveying, silos, thermal oxidizer, flare, and refrigeration units. |
