We are currently looking for an experienced Mid Level Electrical Engineer, to join our great company.
|Duties:||Prepare electrical designs and specifications for large scale refineries, chemical, and industrial projects. Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection. Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions. Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed. Complete projects with the specified electrical deliverables (electrical equipment supplier bid evaluation(bid tabs), load list, cable schedule, electrical equipment list, cable and conduit schedules, emergency generator sizing, electrical one-line diagrams (LV, MV), hazardous area classification drawings and ground grid design. Prepare electrical equipment specifications (MCC's (Motor Control Center), Switchgear, ECR (Electrical Control Rooms (Substations) and electrical equipment selection. Communicate in a technical manner with clients and vendors regarding the electrical design when needed; coordinate and interface with other discipline engineers, designers, and drafters. |
|Qualifications:||Must have knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices Have experience working with electrical design and engineers in the design of oil & gas facilities and will be experienced in medium voltage and low voltage power distribution, including power system design, equipment/protective device sizing, power system studies (short circuit analysis, relay coordination, arc flash analysis) using SKM, ETAP while assuring compliance with the applicable NEC/IEC standards. 10+ years of formal experience in Oil & Gas electrical engineering design Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents Spanish speaking is a plus Licensed as a professional engineer, by exam, in state of residence with the ability to be licensed in multiple states is a plusMust be legally authorized to work in the USA for any employer other than your current employer|
