Description:Position is office engineering with site survey of existing installations, and possible participation in supplier facility surveys, pre-inspection meetings, and inspection technical assistance are among the duties expected for this position.Position will design and technically support fired and unfired equipment using API Stds 530 & 560, API Stds 660, 661, & 662, ASME/ANSI B31.3, ASME/ANSI B31.1. Apply the ASTM & API code requirements for design of pressure parts, tube supports, refractory materials. Responsible for mechanical design support for equipment and its components, developing datasheets, specification and requisition, technical bid evaluation, design and drawing review, developing standard methods and spreadsheets structured to permit design optimization quickly, support fired heater proposal activities, understanding of all aspects of overall furnace execution in order to provide timely mechanical design support, planning mechanical design execution strategy for overall completion of project within schedule.

Qualifications:Urgent need for Senior Mechanical Engineers with heat exchanger experience. Requires BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and seven years of progressive experience with the design and technical support of exchangers & furnaces/fired heater equipment using relevant API, ASME and ASTM codes. Must have both Thermal and Mechanical Design experience.
