Civil/Structural (Designer 6)

Reviews and checks the work of less experienced designers.  Assigns and schedules work and is responsible for the progress and technical quality of drawings and designs produced by assigned organizational resources. May serve as a Lead Designer on a small project with few technical complexities, planning and technically supervising the design activities. Or may serve as an individual contributor role, developing drawings, designs and creative solutions for problems.

Must possess an Associate's degree and/or post high school training in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAD). Fully competent and knowledgeable about design/drafting principles and practices with extensive and comprehensive knowledge in area(s) of specialization and of the design of the organization's technologies in general. Work requires a strong understanding of how Civil/Structural design integrates into and impacts the complete project. In-depth knowledge of Microstation. Frameworks experience is a plus. 8+ years of design/drafting experience.
