Civil/Structural (Engineer 6)

Serves as a staff expert in Civil/Structural Engineering. Requires extensive and comprehensive knowledge in Civil/Structural Engineering and the ability to apply this knowledge to the organization's products and services to complete broadly defined and/or technically complex engineering assignments. Applies advanced theories and develops new methods, techniques and solutions for difficult problems. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Independently plans, develops and executes large and/or technically complex engineering studies with administrative supervision. May serve as the Lead Engineer responsible for technical, scheduling and budgeting matters pertaining to the assigned project. Skill requirements include excellent written and oral skills and the ability to organize, plan, assign and coordinate tasks.

Should have a Bachelor's degree or Masters of Science in Engineering (Ph.D. preferred). A recognized expert in Civil/Structural Engineering with a well-developed knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Comprehensive knowledge of the organization's technology in general and a strong knowledge and understanding of how Civil/Structural Engineering activities integrate into the complete project.  15+ years of engineering experience is required.
