| Description: | Applies extensive and comprehensive knowledge of pipeline engineering principles and practices to the organization's services. Plans, schedules and conducts broad and/or technically complex engineering assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. Develops, plans, evaluates and recommends solutions for difficult problems. Assignments are broadly defined. Work is performed and decisions are made independently. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Travels to project meetings and job sites as necessary. Routinely suggests, justifies and implements improvements and creative solutions for problems. |
| Qualifications: | Must have a Bachelor's degree or Masters of Science in Engineering. Should be a recognized expert with comprehensive knowledge in all facets of pipeline and facilities engineering, with a well-developed knowledge of general upstream oil and gas engineering principles and practices. Experience in both onshore and offshore systems preferable. Working knowledge of the industry's technology and knowledge and understanding of how all aspects of upstream facilities integrates into a complete project. 10+ years of related engineering experience. |
