| Description: | Serves as an in-house expert in onshore and offshore engineering as it relates to the organizations products and services. Primary responsibility is the management of a group of technical personnel. Requires extensive and comprehensive knowledge in onshore and/ or offshore engineering and the ability to apply this knowledge to the organization's products and services to complete broadly defined and/or technically complex upstream engineering assignments. Applies advanced theories and develops new methods, techniques and solutions for difficult problems. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Independently manages large and/or technically complex engineering studies with administrative supervision. Travels to project meetings and job sites, as necessary. |
| Qualifications: | Should have a Bachelor's degree or Masters of Science in Engineering. Should be a recognized expert with a well-developed knowledge of onshore and/ or offshore engineering principles and practices. Will have a comprehensive knowledge of onshore and/ or upstream technology, and a strong knowledge and understanding of how engineering activities integrate into a complete onshore and/ or offshore project. 15+ years of engineering experience. |
