| Description: | B.S Electrical Engineering with 15+ years experience in refinery or other related industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties: - Manage the department of control systems engineering incl. staffing to meet project requirements; conducting design review of project document to ensure the deliverables are with top quality and providing adequate supervision to ensure the work will be completed on time within budget.
- Review the scope of work, specifications, manhour estimate, material take-off and schedule on each project.
- Review the work plan and progress reporting on each project to ensure the correct earned value is reported.
- Provide training to enhance the technical competency of Control Systems personnel. Also, monitor the performance and conduct annual reviews to help the personnel further develop their professional growth.
Update the department procedure and practices as required to ensure the consistency in design approaches and to be in compliance with the latest codes and standards using the latest technology in the design. |
