Civil/Structural (Sr. Engineer - Engineer 4)

A Senior Civil/Structural Engineer plans, schedules and conducts broad and/or technically complex engineering assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. May plan and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers.  Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors.  Travels to project meetings and job sites as necessary. Develops new techniques and solutions and suggests and justifies product and work process improvements. Independently performs most assignments. Receive technical guidance on very unusual or complex problems. May serve as a Lead Engineer responsible for technical, scheduling and budgeting matters pertaining to the assigned project. Skills requirements include comprehensive knowledge of civil/Structural engineering, excellent written and oral skills and the ability to organize, plan, assign and coordinate tasks.

Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a well developed knowledge of Civil/Structural engineering principles and practices. Comprehensive knowledge of the organization's technology in general and knowledge and understanding of how the work integrates into a complete project.  7+ years of related engineering experience.

May be required to visit work locations and travel.
