Civil/Structual (Engineer 2)

Applies engineering knowledge and experience to prepare design calculations and/or performs other engineering tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.  Performs specific limited portions of a broader assignment under the guidance of a more experienced engineer.  Recognizes problems and discrepancies and requests help when needed. Occasionally suggests product design and work process improvements. Exercises limited judgment to adapt methods with minor modifications. Supervisor or lead discipline engineer screens assignments for new or unusual problems, recommends techniques and methods and thoroughly reviews work.

Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Candidate should have basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices accompanied by a developing knowledge of the organization's technology in general and Civil/Structural in particular. 2-3 years of related engineering experience required.
